A Sidcup sex offender, Stephen Lumb, with more than 200 prior convictions has been incarcerated for making intoxicated remarks to a woman outside Tesco.

Stephen Lumb, 66, commenced his criminal activities in 1976 and was permanently registered as a sex offender in 2009 following a grave sexual assault.

He has regularly been incarcerated for offences, including public masturbation at a bus stop in 2021.

In 2022, Stephen Lumb was issued a sexual harm prevention order (SHPO) prohibiting any unsupervised interaction with women or female children, except for unavoidable contact in daily life.

On Tuesday, July 1, Stephen Lumb, inebriated outside Tesco on Station Road, Sidcup, approached and conversed with a woman.

On Thursday, July 3, before Bexley Magistrates’ Court, Stephen Lumb admitted guilt to violating the SHPO and to public intoxication and disorderly conduct.

Stephen Lumb received an eight-month prison sentence.
