Stephen Kerr-Morgan, the Peterborough Paedophile, discovered with over 250 indecent photographs of minors on his gadgets, has been incarcerated.
Stephen Kerr-Morgan, 54, of Bowness Way, Peterborough, was discovered to possess obscene photos of minors on his phone and iPad.
In May 2023, officers visited Stephen Kerr-Morgan’s residence; however, he declined to disclose any passwords or PINs for the devices, stating he would prefer arrest.
Authorities confiscated his devices and discovered they housed over 150 category A photographs and videos—the most egregious—featuring infant and toddler victims.
An additional 52 category B photographs and 49 category C images were discovered.
Several of these photographs were disseminated by Stephen Kerr-Morgan, who employed end-to-end encryption on social media to conceal his identity.
Discussions on chat forums involving Stephen Kerr-Morgan and others were disclosed, along with numerous photographs he believed he had hidden on his phone and iPad.
Stephen Kerr-Morgan entered a guilty plea on Friday, 3 October, to three counts of producing an indecent photograph of a child, one count of possessing an extreme pornographic image, two counts of disseminating an obscene material, and one count of distributing an indecent photograph of a child.
At Cambridge Crown Court, convened in Peterborough, Judge Matthew Lowe sentenced him to two years and two months in prison, stating, “I emphasise the distribution charge, which is the most severe.” In my opinion, the offence is exacerbated for several reasons.
