Avon & Somerset Police have released a CCTV photograph of an individual they wish to interview over a sexual assault involving a child in Bristol.
The incident reportedly occurred at approximately 10 PM at St James’ Park on Saturday, August 16.
An investigation has commenced following the incident report, involving the examination of CCTV footage, social media, forensic enquiries, and the collection of witness testimony.
Involved officers are pursuing investigative leads and maintaining communication with the victim, who has been sent to several agencies that assist individuals who have experienced sexual violence and abuse.
The preliminary report to cops contained a description of the perpetrator, identified as a male in his 30s, presumed to be of Asian descent, and roughly 5 feet 4 to 6 inches tall. He was said to be attired in black garments and carrying a black knapsack at that time.
CCTV investigations have been conducted following the incident, and we are disseminating a photograph of a man we wish to identify, as we would like to engage with him.
