Simon Holt, who impregnated a schoolgirl, was reprimanded by a judge who stated, “You were the adult. You were expected to exercise better judgement.”
The 39-year-old, Simon Holt, consistently exploited his victim, occasionally when both were intoxicated.
Multiple incidents occurred following the use of alcohol by both parties; on one instance, he restrained his victim, expressed that he was “horny,” and perpetrated a sexual act despite her stating that she was “tired.”
Simon Holt’s offences were revealed after the victim’s mother learnt of her daughter’s pregnancy and notified the authorities.
A subsequent DNA test confirmed that the child was Simon Holt’s.
The warehouse employee, a father of a young son, Simon Holt, refrained from commenting when interrogated over his conduct, but subsequently confessed to five charges of sexual intercourse with a minor.
Simon Holt, residing on North Road in St Helens, received a sentence of six years and nine months in prison.
