In the illicit chat on Kik Messenger, Simon Dickinson and other paedophiles would remark on child sexual abuse videos, referring to them as “sexy.”
The repugnant conduct of the 44-year-old was uncovered after he utilised Snapchat to disseminate images of child sexual exploitation, enabling law enforcement to establish his IP address.
Following a raid on his residence on November 24 of the previous year, authorities discovered that he had disseminated links to recordings depicting child rape to seven additional individuals.
Simon Dickinson, residing on Dwerryhouse Lane in West Derby, confessed to three charges of downloading, one charge of possession, and two charges of distribution of indecent photos of children, as well as possession of an extreme pornographic image and possession of indecent photographs of children for display.
Simon Dickinson was incarcerated for two and a half years.
