A Birmingham Paedophile, Saptarshi Mitra, man confronts a substantial prison term after admitting responsibility to over 13 sexual offences against a minor, including rape.
Saptarshi Mitra, 42 years old, from Ashfield Avenue, appeared at Birmingham Crown Court on 7 July.
Saptarshi Mitra confronted 13 sexual crime charges, the most severe of which were two counts of rape, and was scheduled to stand trial. He altered his pleas in court and admitted guilt to all charges. He will return to court in September for sentencing.
Saptarshi Mitra had been perpetrating abuse against his victim for some years until she courageously came out and reported the misconduct. Mitra was apprehended, and his mobile phone was confiscated, revealing inappropriate photographs of her.
