The identity of a man, Sahil Ali, the West Sussex Paedophile, condemned for the rape of three vulnerable young girls in West Sussex, can finally be disclosed.
Sahil Ali utilised social media to communicate with the females, employing violence and threats to perpetrate rape and sexual abuse from 2022 to 2024.
The assaults frequently occurred in his vehicle, when he would subjugate the susceptible girls.
The 21-year-old was tried and convicted at Lewes Crown Court on 6 March of this year for seven charges of rape, one crime of intentional strangling, and one count of sexual assault by penetration.
Sahil Ali, a British citizen previously residing in West Sussex, received an 18-year prison term, with an additional five years imposed on licence due to dangerousness.
This indicates that he will not be freed automatically after completing half of his term, but must complete a minimum of two-thirds of his sentence before being eligible for parole consideration.
Sahil Ali was indefinitely registered as a sex offender, and a Sexual Harm Prevention Order was imposed, prohibiting his access to minors and computer equipment until further notice.
The sentencing hearing was held on 26 June at Lewes Crown Court, and initial reporting of the case outcome was delayed for legal reasons, but can now be revealed.
