An dirty old paedophile Royston Gill, the Llandaff North Paedophile, has been jailed for sexual assaulting two young girls in Cardiff.
The 81-year-old admitted guilt to two charges of molesting a minor under 13 through inappropriate touching in August 2023 and July 2024.
Royston Gill, from Llandaff North, was convicted at Cardiff Crown Court on Wednesday, November 27, to an enhanced nine-year sentence, consisting of five years in custody and a four-year licence period.
The court determined that Royston Gill presents a significant risk to children, notwithstanding his fragile demeanour.
Detective Constable Rhiannon Phillips of South Wales Police, the officer assigned to the case, stated:
“I would like to commend the bravery of the victims in coming forward to police. It has been a traumatic time for everyone involved and we hope the outcome at court provides some comfort.”
