Two deviant sex offenders, Rosalind Fitzgerald and Sarah Crawford, engaged in a sexual act in the presence of shocked children during the school run, a court was informed.

Rosalind Fitzgerald, 42, and Sarah Crawford, 39, engaged in intimate behaviour in a shop entrance in Gateshead.

Rosalind Fitzgerald and Sarah Crawford have now admitted responsibility for violating public decency in relation to the incident committed on December 11.

The Newcastle Magistrates’ Court was informed that Rosalind Fitzgerald and Sarah Crawford were observed participating in a sexual act near the entrance of a shop around 8:40 AM.

Rosalind Fitzgerald and Sarah Crawford commenced intimate contact outside a shop on York Road in Birtley, Gateshead, and subsequently engaged in a sexual act. Subsequently, he urinated on the floor.

An astonished observer, appalled by the situation, contacted the police, resulting in the arrest of the duo.

Prosecutor Paul Anderson stated, “Naturally, at that hour, children would have been en route to school.”

Both women attended court individually, with Rosalind Fitzgerald receiving a 12-month community order and a £120 fine.

The presiding judge informed Rosalind Fitzgerald, who has a history of convictions. “It has come to our attention that you might be familiar with these proceedings.”

Sarah Crawford had legal issues once more in June due to an incident in Durham city centre.

She attacked a police officer after discarding merchandise onto the street. Upon being placed in a police cell, she “defecated” within it, resulting considerable damage.

On Friday, Sarah Crawford, who has no permanent residence, appeared at Peterlee Magistrates’ Court to receive sentencing for offences including outraging public decency, public order violations, criminal damage, and assaulting a police officer. She had admitted culpability for the offences.
She received a four-month prison sentence, suspended for twelve months.

She was assigned 25 rehabilitation activity days, to be completed within six months. She was additionally penalised and mandated to provide restitution.
