A rape victim recounted her trauma inflicted by Rory Macaleece, the Edinburgh Rapist serial sex offender, who exploited his alleged MI5 contacts to intimidate her and coerce her into silence.

Hotel manager Rory Macaleece conducted a five-year campaign of violent and humiliating abuse, which included the rape of two women and the sexual assault of a 12-year-old girl.

The 48-year-old criminal, Rory Macaleece, known for his violent outbursts, is now incarcerated following the women’s report to law enforcement.

Rory Macaleece is scheduled for sentencing on Wednesday following his conviction at the High Court in Glasgow last month on eight crimes, including rape, stalking, domestic violence, and sexual assault against four victims, whose identities are protected for legal reasons.

An ex-partner has disclosed to The Mail on Sunday the assaults perpetrated by the ‘controlling bully,’ aiming to encourage more victims to come forward.

She said, ‘I know he’s behind bars for now, and he can’t do all the things he promised to do if I reported him.

‘He told me his dad was part of MI5 and he has friends in the Government who were dangerous. He threatened that if I told anybody about what he did [to me], I wouldn’t live. He had already demonstrated he had no problem hurting me.

‘But I’ve already had a message from someone saying Rory sexually assaulted them in 2006. I’ve no doubt there are more women out there that he’s done this to. I’m speaking out so others might feel safe enough to come forward.’

The woman met Rory Macaleece, who worked for a hotel chain, in 2018. She said: ‘It wasn’t long before his mask slipped and his controlling and aggressive nature was exposed.’

He once punched her to the ground, while he also controlled her diet, repeatedly called her ‘fat’ and told her what to wear. During the harrowing interview, the young mum recalled how he raped her after she had asked him to leave her alone.

After the couple had split, she confronted him. She recalled: ‘I said to him, ‘You raped me’. He said, ‘Yes, I did. I was upset because you were pushing me away.’

She later reported him to the police. ‘He lied to me about other partners,’ she added. ‘He even told me he had cancer and was dying. He is a manipulator and a liar.’
