Robert Dearden, the self-admitted paedophile nurse from Coventry has passed away in prison. The Prisons and Probation Ombudsman has announced online that Robert Dearden died on April 25.

He was incarcerated at HMP Rye Hill, serving a 14-year sentence for multiple egregious offences against an eight-year-old girl. The cause of his death remains undetermined.

However, as per the Ombudsman’s online announcement, an inquiry is currently in progress. The current status indicates it is ‘in progress’.

Robert Dearden, formerly of Bulkington Road, Coventry, was incarcerated in November 2019. He pleaded guilty to charges of rape, sexual assault, and the downloading of indecent photos of minors.

At Warwick Crown Court, it was revealed that the psychiatric nurse, Robert Dearden, who admitted to being a paedophile, raped and sexually assaulted his eight-year-old victim.

Robert Dearden received an extended sentence, necessitating that he serve a minimum of two-thirds of his 14-year term before the Parole Board would contemplate his release. However, he served barely six years before his demise.
