A Goole Paedophile, Robert Carter, who exploited his position of trust to groom and sexually assault an impressionable and vulnerable child during the late 1970s and early 1980s, has been sentenced to nine years in total and issued a lifelong Sexual Harm Prevention Order after appearing at Hull Crown Court on Friday, 12 September 2025.
Robert Carter, 70, of Widop Street in Goole, pleaded guilty to nine counts of historical sexual offences, including rape, four counts of indecent assault, three counts of producing indecent images of a child, and possession of a prohibited image of a child on the initial day designated for his trial in June 2025.
Robert Carter was subsequently sentenced at Hull Crown Court on Friday, September 12.
