A 28-year-old Soughton Rapist, Reece Wynne, has been sentenced to imprisonment today for the savage rape and assault of a lady.
Reece Wynne, residing on Greenbank Lane in Soughton, appeared at Mould Crown Court on Tuesday, 16 September, after confessing to charges of rape and assault resulting in bodily damage.
Reece Wynne assaulted and sexually violated the woman at a holiday lodge in Caerwys.
He also neglected to adhere to the sex offender notification obligations imposed upon him in 2017.
Reece Wynne was incarcerated for a duration of eight years and one month.
Reece Wynne was also subjected to a restraining order that protects the victim eternally and is required to register with the police indefinitely.
Detective Constable Jessica Rowley said:
“This was a truly horrifying experience that will stay with the victim for a long time.
“I commend her bravery to seek support and report Reece Wynne’s actions, which have resulted in his conviction.
“We will do everything in our power to bring those who inflict sexual harm to justice.
“I understand that reporting sexual assault can be incredibly difficult. However, I would reassure any victim that we will listen, take your report seriously and fully investigate. We are here to support you.”
