Raymond Lloyd Jersey Paedophile, 64, was previously found guilty of raping and sexually assaulting the victim. During trial, the Royal Court heard he followed the 16-year-old girl before leading her to Snow Hill car park and assaulting her in February 2022.
Raymond Lloyd was then charged in November 2022 following an extensive investigation, police said.
Det Con Carla Garnier said the victim showed “an incredible level of courage and strength throughout the whole judicial process”.
She said: “We hope this sentence gives her some sort of closure and that she can start to rebuild her life and begin to heal.
The police said the victim had been supported by specially trained officers, Independent Sexual Violence Advisors and the Intermediary Service throughout the investigation.
“We are committed to investigating and prosecuting all sexual offenders and we want to assure victims that there are a number of agencies who are in a position to offer support and guidance through all stages of the criminal justice process,” Ms Garnier said.
Raymond Lloyd has also been placed on the sex offenders register for 10 years.
