Philip Walsh, the Elland Rapist, was sentenced to over ten years in prison yesterday after confessing to rape and sexual assault during a hearing at Bradford Crown Court in May.
A woman who was raped in Calderdale has told a court: “I no longer feel like the same person. I don’t sleep at night. I have constant flashbacks. I am always scared.”
The 66-year-old resident, Philip Walsh, of Brooksbank Gardens, Elland, assaulted the victim in Elland in September of the previous year and was apprehended later that day.
Philip Walsh received an 11-year prison sentence and will be permanently registered as a sex offender.
Lynzi Walsh, the Rapist’s daughter, also appeared at Bradford Crown Court, where she confessed to perverting the course of justice by providing a false statement to exonerate her rapist father.
After all, she didn’t know the victim, so why should she care?
The 40-year-old scumbag, an enabling resident of Kingsley Road, Mablethorpe, received a suspended sentence of 12 months.
