The Offender Database reported that, in 2018, Philip Royle Chorley, a Paedophile School Caretaker who participated in immoral online discussions regarding minors, received a suspended prison sentence.

Philip Royle, then 38, formerly employed at Balshaw Lane Primary School in Chorley, disseminated disturbing fantasies concerning minors via Skype discussions with others.

Law enforcement obtained information indicating that an individual utilising Chatstep—a social media platform that characterises itself as “free, private & beautiful group chat”—had posted an obscene photograph on December 19, 2016.

It was linked to Philip Royle’s IP address – a distinctive number allocated to all devices upon their internet connection.

On October 16, 2017, law enforcement conducted a raid at his residence in Beaconsfield Terrace, Chorley. Although Philip Royle was absent, the police located him employed at Balshaw Lane Community School and removed him from the premises.

Simultaneously, computer equipment was confiscated, revealing 38 photographs categorised as a combination of Category A – the most severe – B and C, along with extreme pornographic content. He had also participated in indecent conversations.

Philip Royle, previously reported missing earlier this year, confessed to six charges of disseminating obscene material and producing indecent photos of minors.
