The Offender Database has reported that Peter Victor Streeter, a much-loved 74-year-old Hailsham Paedophile Child Molester, has been incarcerated for sexually assaulting a minor at an event.
Peter Victor Streeter, 74, of Greenwich Road, Hailsham, was sentenced at Brighton Crown Court on Friday, 7 November, following his conviction for three offences of sexual assault of a girl with whom he was acquainted.
The offences occurred in September 2022, when the victim, then 11 years old, attended a gathering in Chichester, where the defendant was also present.
Following a sexual attack related to her attire, the victim courageously informed her family members of the incident, leading to their confrontation with the defendant, who refuted any misconduct, asserting that the victim was mistaken in her account.
Peter Victor Streeter entered a plea of not guilty at the preliminary court proceedings, but on the first day of the trial, set for 8 September, he acknowledged the charges and pleaded guilty.
Peter Victor Streeter received an 84-month prison sentence, which was reduced to 75 months due to his early guilty plea. He received a Sexual Harm Prevention Order for a duration of 10 years and will be mandated to register as a sex offender for life.
