The Offender Database reported that Peter MacKenzie Buckby, the East Ayton Paedophile, a music instructor, has been incarcerated for participating in sexual conduct with a minor over ten years prior.
Peter MacKenzie Buckby, 44, of East Ayton, Scarborough, was found guilty of causing or inciting a minor to participate in sexual conduct, as well as participating in sexual activity with a minor.
The acts were reported to the authorities in 2022, but they occurred some years prior.
Peter MacKenzie Buckby was a music instructor in Scarborough when he sexually attacked a girl who was under the age of 16.
Subsequent to an inquiry conducted by the Non-Recent Abuse Investigation Team of North Yorkshire Police, Peter MacKenzie Buckby was indicted.
He entered a plea of not guilty but was subsequently convicted following a trial at York Crown Court on 8 October 2025.
On 2 December 2025, Peter MacKenzie Buckby received a sentence of four years and three months of incarceration at the same court.
