PC Kamran Aziz, a Nottinghamshire Police officer Offender, has been prohibited from the profession for composing a report reminiscent of “Game of Thrones.”
Kamran Aziz, who has been working for Nottinghamshire Police since January 2019, was tasked with evaluating evidence in a case and preparing a report for the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS).
The authorities stated that the report included “sexualised and derogatory remarks” crafted in the manner of the renowned fantasy literature and television series.
On Friday, PC Kamran Aziz was terminated from the police service and added to the prohibited list following a conviction for severe misconduct.
A gross misconduct hearing revealed that PC Kamran Aziz’s report included “inappropriate, derogatory, and sexualised language,” referencing himself, colleagues, members of the public, and a police custody suite.
The officer asserted that he composed the paper in a “farcical Game of Thrones-style” to underscore his conviction that the case lacked sufficient strength to proceed to court.
Nevertheless, his coworkers informed an inquiry into his behaviour that his language in the report was “appalling and challenging to articulate”.
The investigation determined that PC Kamran Aziz violated professional conduct norms concerning “authority, respect and courtesy, equality and diversity, discreditable conduct, and compliance with orders and instructions,” according to the force.
