The Bransholme Paedophile, Paul Willby, 64, of Axminster Close, Hull, confessed to multiple sexual offences, including the rape of a minor, as well as possessing illegal photos of a child and possessing severe images of bestiality.
Julia Baggs, representing the prosecution, stated that Paul Willby was apprehended and computer equipment was confiscated from him. Inappropriate photographs of minors were discovered. They categorised 98 in the most severe Category A, 16 in Category B, and 292 in Category C.
A laptop was examined, revealing 17 photos in Category A, 11 in Category B, and 201 in Category C. Additionally, there were two illicit photos and 33 depicting bestiality. Paul Willby refrained from commenting on any questions during the police interrogation, as reported by Hull Crown Court.
Connor Stuart, in mitigation, stated that there had been no more offences committed while he was on release until May 9, when he was remanded in custody. He possessed no prior convictions.
Paul Willby received a lifelong sexual harm prevention order and is required to register as a sex offender indefinitely.
