A ‘very perilous’ sexual assailant Warwickshire Rapist, Paul Sanders, perpetrated three attacks within a span of less than 24 hours. On April 6, 2024, Paul Sanders committed a sexual assault against one woman and subsequently attempted to sexually assault another.
Paul Sanders thereafter attempted to unlawfully enter a residence with the intention of perpetrating a sexual crime.
The police apprehended a 36-year-old individual, Paul Sanders, without a permanent residence on suspicion of offences in south Warwickshire.
Paul Sanders was charged with sexual assault, attempted sexual assault and knowingly trespassing on premises with intent to commit a relevant sexual offence. Sanders admitted all of the offences.
At Warwick Crown Court last week he was jailed for four years last. He will serve another three years on licence following his release.
Paul Sanders was also ordered to sign the sex offender’s register for life. Detective Sergeant James Stone-Fewings, a sexual offence investigator from Warwickshire Police, praised the bravery of his victims.
“The courage shown by all the victims in this case must be commended,” DS Stone-Fewings said. “Thanks to their continued support we have been able to ensure a very dangerous man is no longer on the streets.”
