The Winsford Paedophile, Paul Bishop, has admitted to sexually assaulting two youngsters in Cheshire.

Paul Bishop, 43, from the Winsford area, appeared at Chester Crown Court on Monday, July 21, when he confessed to eight sexual crimes involving two victims.

The charges consist of six counts pertaining to one victim and two offences concerning the second victim. Paul Bishop was admitted to several charges of rape, including that of a minor under 13, as well as controlling and coercive behaviour and additional sexual offences against children.

The abuse occurred in the 2000s and persisted for 15 years.

Paul Bishop has been remanded in custody until Monday, 15 September, when he will be sentenced at Chester Crown Court.

Paul Bishop was sentenced to 17 years in jail, with an additional year on licence, at Chester Crown Court on Wednesday, 1 October.

The 43-year-old from the Winsford area had previously confessed to eight sexual crimes involving two women.
