The Offender Database reported that Patrick Foley, the Hove Paedophile Child Molester, was sentenced to 15 years in prison for the rape of a minor over a span of seven years.
Patrick Foley, 83, of Prinsep Road, Hove, was convicted of seven charges of rape by a jury at Lewes Crown Court on Monday, December 22, 2014.
Patrick Foley was acquainted with his victim. He sexually assaulted her from 1968 to 1975, during which she was aged 11 to 18, as shown to the court.
Judge Anthony Scott-Gall imposed a 15-year prison sentence.
Detective Constable Holly Hallahan of Sussex Police stated, “The victim has endured this for the past 40 years, and this outcome is exceptional for her.”
“She has demonstrated remarkable bravery in coming forward to discuss her experiences, and she has now received the justice she merits.”
