Another British man and Sheffield Paedophile, Obaidullah Omari, has been convicted of grooming and raping two young English girls in Rotherham during the early 2000s.

A trial at Sheffield Crown Court revealed that Obaidullah Omari, 46, from Sheffield, preyed upon two individuals aged 13 and 14 over the period of their abuse.

The offences, which transpired between 2003 and 2004, were examined by agents from the National Crime Agency’s Operation Stovewood, which investigates child sexual abuse in Rotherham from 1997 to 2013.

Obaidullah Omari, while in his twenties, provided the females with booze and narcotics before to assaulting them.

The jury determined that Obaidullah Omari sexually assaulted the first victim repeatedly at two distinct locations: his residence in Eastwood and within his vehicle.

He was also found guilty of raping the second girl on one occasion.

Both victims reported to Operation Stovewood over 20 years after the abuse occurred, presenting their testimonies to officers who subsequently arrested Omari in 2019.

After a fortnight trial at Sheffield Crown Court, Omari was convicted of three charges of rape and two charges of indecent assault.

Obaidullah Omari is scheduled for sentencing today, September 4th.
