Nicholas Rossi, the U.S. fugitive who fabricated his own demise and absconded to Scotland, has been convicted of rape in the initial of two trials.
Nicholas Rossi, seen in 2008 and in court yesterday, was convicted of sexual imposition and public obscenity during his tenure as a student at Sinclair College in Dayton, Ohio.
Nicholas Rossi, appearing in court under the alias Nicholas Alahverdian, has refuted all allegations.
The case pertains to an assault in Salt Lake County; however, he is also confronting another trial for an alleged rape in Utah County, slated for September.
The jury, consisting of four men and four women, deliberated for over eight hours before reaching a judgement. Rossi is scheduled for sentencing on October 20.
