Nicholas Kerswell, the Eastchurch Paedophile, from the Isle of Sheppey, has been sentenced to nearly four years in prison for sexually assaulting a minor.
Nicholas Kerswell assaulted the victim in Swale on 26 July 2025.
The incident was communicated to a family member, and law enforcement was notified. Officers promptly located him, and he was subsequently charged with the assault of a girl under 13 through inappropriate contact.
Nicholas Kerswell of Plough Road, Eastchurch, acknowledged the charge during his initial appearance at Medway Magistrates’ Court on 28 July.
Nicholas Kerswell additionally entered a guilty plea to an unrelated charge of burglary. This pertains to a burglary at a location on Bridgewater Road, Sheerness, on 28 March 2023.
On Tuesday, 30 September, at Maidstone Crown Court, the 34-year-old received a three-year sentence for sexual assault and an additional 10 months for burglary.
Nicholas Kerswell will be subjected to a Sexual Harm Prevention Order for a duration of 10 years upon his release, in addition to a restraining order.
