In 2019, the Offender Database reported that Neal Hopkins, a Stoke-on-Trent Paedophile Child Molester, was sentenced to EIGHT years for confessing to 26 sexual crimes against FIVE boys.
Deviant Neal Hopkins was sentenced to eight years in prison for committing a series of sexual offences against schoolboys aged 13 to 15.
He cultivated relationships and encountered his victims over social media.
The then 46-year-old received a sentence at Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court after confessing to 26 sexual offences against his victims.
He is required to complete a prolonged four-year licensing period upon his release from incarceration.
Neal Hopkins, residing on Stone Road in Trent Vale, Staffordshire, committed the offences in Staffordshire, Derbyshire, North Wales, South Wales, Worcestershire, and Yorkshire over a five-year period.
He has admitted:
- Fifteen counts of engaging in penetrative sexual activity;
- Three counts of causing/inciting a child to engage in sexual activity;
- One charge of paying for the sexual services of a child;
- One charge of causing a child to watch an image of sexual activity;
- Five counts of taking an indecent photograph of a child;
- One count of distributing an indecent photograph of a child.
The court was informed that Neal Hopkins utilised social media and internet chat platforms to communicate with seven victims, all of whom were under the age of 16.
He prompted the victims — males aged 13 to 15 – to partake in sexual dialogues and to transmit inappropriate photographs.
Neal Hopkins participated in sexual behaviour with five separate youngsters on ten occasions.
On one occasion, he provided one of the youngsters with money.
After his apprehension in July of the previous year, his mobile device was confiscated.
This included explicit photos of minors, and there was evidence indicating his involvement in sexual activities with children.
The court was informed that Neal Hopkins was apprehended last July.
A Sexual Harm Prevention Order has been placed on him indefinitely, and he has been mandated to register on the Sex Offenders’ Register for life.
