In 2019, the Offender Database reported that Nathan Dunne, a Middlewich Paedophile Child Molester, 28, was sentenced to four years in prison at Chester Crown Court after he confessed to sexually assaulting her and coercing her to touch his penis.
The court was informed that Nathan Dunne, residing on Powell Drive in Middlewich, Cheshire, arrived intoxicated at a gathering at a residence in Winsford in May of the previous year.
Following his partner’s departure, he entered the girl’s room and reclined on the floor to sleep. Shortly thereafter, he entered her bed, removed her pyjamas, prevented her from exiting the room, and engaged in sexual contact with her on four occasions.
Despite her pleas for him to cease and her expressions of discomfort, he persisted and ultimately removed his shorts, subsequently placing her hand on his penis twice.
She summoned her parents, but they were unable to hear.
Before resuming sleep on the floor, he instructed her to maintain confidentiality on the incident.
After Nathan Dunne departed the residence the subsequent morning, the youngster became emotional as she informed her mother that he had compelled her to ‘touch his genitalia.’ A report was sent to the police.
During the sentencing hearing on Monday, the girl’s father delivered a victim impact statement detailing the incident’s repercussions on his family.
He said, “Since the incident, we have become very protective and won’t let her out of our sight. We second-guess every decision we make and punish ourselves for previous choices.
“We feel that everyone is a threat, and we need to keep her very close. We will struggle to come to terms with the fact that this has happened to our daughter for the rest of our lives.
“Our world has been completely shattered. It’s a horrific memory that will never leave us.
“No child should have to go through what she has had to suffer.”
Nathan Dunne had initially said he couldn’t remember the events and denied the charges, although traces of his DNA were found in the girl’s underwear. He pleaded guilty two months before a scheduled trial was due to start.
Nathan Dunne was sentenced to two concurrent four-year sentences.
Nathan Dunne was also made subject to an indefinite sexual harm prevention order.
