Muhammad Riaz, then 26, was found guilty of one count of sexual assault against a child under 13 at Teesside Crown Court.
He refuted the allegation of sexually abusing the youngster in Stockton, underwent trial, and a jury unanimously adjudicated him guilty on Wednesday.
