UPDATE 2025
Mohammed Abdulraziq, the Birmingham Paedophile, has been found guilty of kidnapping a child and sexually assaulting her at a residence in Birmingham.
Mohammed Abdulraziq, 32 years old, was convicted of false imprisonment with the intent to perpetrate a sexual offence, sexual assault of a female under the age of 13, and assault on a woman after a trial at Birmingham Crown Court.
Mohammed Abdulraziq was found in a residence with a five-year-old on the afternoon of March 30.
The girl was playing in the street when Mohammed Abdulraziq led her into a residence.
The girl’s mother and her companion searched for her daughter and detected crying emanating from within a residence. Her companion gazed through the window and observed a man in a room with the girl.
The man subsequently struck her through the window as she attempted to enter. Entry into the residence was then compelled by members of the public who apprehended him until we were notified, and our police arrived to effectuate his arrest. He will receive his sentence at a subsequent date.
UPDATE 2026
In 2026, the Offender Database reported that Mohammed Abdulraziq, then 33, of Winson Green, Birmingham, West Midlands, is still awaiting a delayed sentencing at Birmingham Crown Court. Abdulraziq, a Sudanese national, was convicted of snatching a five-year-old girl from the street and sexually attacking her in his room. The sentencing, originally scheduled for January 2026, has been adjourned until March 13 to allow the probation service to complete a “dangerousness” assessment.
The investigation by West Midlands Police revealed that on March 30, 2025, Abdulraziq took the child into his shared accommodation after a day spent drinking and smoking “Mamba.” A friend of the victim’s mother discovered the attack after hearing screams; looking through a window, she saw Abdulraziq and the child with their clothing removed. When the witness tried to intervene, Abdulraziq punched her through the window before a group of local residents forced entry to rescue the girl.
Following a trial, a jury found Abdulraziq guilty of false imprisonment with intent to commit a sexual offence and sexual assault. The court reported a history of violent behaviour leading up to the attack. Five days prior to the abduction, he attacked a father and son, biting the son’s arm and attempting to hit them with a windscreen wiper. It was also reported that in November 2022, he had threatened a doctor with a kitchen knife.
Judge Kerry Maylin emphasised that the delay in sentencing is necessary to determine if Abdulraziq meets the criteria for an extended sentence due to public risk. If deemed “dangerous,” he will face a significantly longer period on licence following his release. Once sentenced, Mohammed Abdulraziq will be required to sign the Sex Offenders Register for life and will be managed under Multi-Agency Public Protection Arrangements (MAPPA) by West Midlands Police to monitor his behaviour and protect the public in Birmingham.
