Another British Guest, Mohammad Wajid Koko, a Tamworth Rapist and Sex Offender, has been sentenced to nine years and nine months in prison after confessing to raping a woman in Tamworth.

Mohammad Wajid Koko, 24, currently without a permanent residence, appeared at Stafford Crown Court today (Thursday, November 6) following his prior guilty plea to charges of rape and sexual assault against a woman.

Mohammad Wajid Koko approached a woman on June 2 of the previous year.

He thereafter committed rape and sexual abuse against her.

Upon receiving the report, we promptly dispatched specialised investigators and swiftly apprehended Koko.

Mohammad Wajid Koko was summoned for interrogation, subsequently charged with the charges, and referred to court.

Specialised police diligently assisted the survivor while collecting evidence to ensure Mohammad Wajid Koko was held accountable for his offences.

Mohammad Wajid Koko was indefinitely placed on the Sex Offenders Register as part of his sentencing today.
