A Paedophile from Bootle, Michael Senior, has received a 21-year prison sentence for rape and several sexual offences.
Michael Senior, 32, from Bootle, was sentenced today (Friday, 19 September) at Liverpool Crown Court after being convicted of the following offences:
- Five counts of rape
- Two counts of sexual activity with a child
- Two counts of sexual assault
- Two counts of causing or inciting a child to engage in sexual activity
Michael Senior was also convicted of making indecent images of a child, distributing indecent images of a child and possession of extreme pornography, which he had pleaded guilty to before the trial.
The investigation pertains to a report indicating that a 12-year-old child was initially victimised by a serious sexual offence in 2013. Additional reports of sexual offences against the same individual spanned a decade.
In addition to a prison sentence, Michael Senior has been permanently registered on the Sex Offenders Register and issued a 20-year restraining order.
