A sexual predator and Kirkcaldy Paedophile, Michael McRobie, who inflicted a “appalling catalogue” of rape and abuse upon two adolescent girls has been sentenced to 10 years in prison. Michael McRobie, 34, assaulted one of his victims with a whip.
On Monday in the High Court in Edinburgh, Judge Michael O’Grady KC remarked, “It is self-evident that you have been convicted of an egregious array of offences.”
“They clearly illustrate your malevolent, compulsive, and profoundly perilous fascination with children and adolescent girls.”
Michael McRobie, from Kirkcaldy in Fife, had previously disputed many allegations but was found guilty of 12 offences, including six counts of rape.
All crimes were perpetrated in Fife.
A comprehensive investigation was conducted on indecent photos of minors and additional grave sexual offences.
