Merseyside Police have released CCTV photos of a man who may possess information on the inappropriate touching of a 16-year-old girl on a bus in Liverpool city centre.

The girl boarded an Arriva 86A bus at Liverpool One bus station, and the event transpired approximately 15 minutes into the journey.

The youngster relocated to a different section of the bus and notified the authorities upon her return home.

Investigations have been underway since the event was reported, and as part of this process, we are now sharing pictures of a guy who may possess pertinent information.

The incident transpired at approximately 1:30 PM on Thursday, August 21.

Detective Inspector Paula Jones said: “This was clearly a very distressing incident for the teenager, and enquiries are ongoing into what happened.

“We would like to speak to the man pictured, as we believe he could have information to help with our investigation. I would urge anyone who recognises him to contact us.”
