Maxx Stobbs, aka Max Hinchley, the Staithes Paedophile, has been sentenced to three and a half years in prison for engaging in sexual behaviour with a juvenile girl.
Maxx Stobbs, alias Max Hinchley, aged 24, residing at Seaton Crescent, Staithes, was sentenced at York Crown Court on 19 September 2025.
An investigation commenced in March 2023 following reports of the sexual abuse of a minor female adolescent.
Maxx Stobbs was subsequently apprehended in April 2023.
On 18 July, Maxx Stobbs admitted guilt at York Crown Court to four charges of penetrative sexual activity involving a minor. He has been sentenced to three and a half years of incarceration and mandated to remit a surcharge of £190 for these charges.
Maxx Stobbs has been mandated to register on the sex offenders list indefinitely.
