Matthew Full, the Hornsea Paedophile and Sex Offender, who approached a teenage girl in a school uniform and inappropriately touched her while she was with friends at a park in Hornsea has been sentenced to one year and eight months in prison, received a ten-year Restraining Order, and a ten-year Sexual Harm Prevention Order following his appearance at Hull Crown Court on Friday, 7 November 2025.

Matthew Full, 44, of Lindale Avenue in Hornsea, admitted to engaging in non-penetrative sexual touching with a girl aged 13 to 15 during a prior court hearing.

In April 2025, a teenage girl and two companions contacted us to report that a man had approached them while they were seated on a bench in Hallgarth Park, Hornsea.

The individual, subsequently recognised as Matthew Full, seated himself beside the girl and proceeded to touch her thigh improperly. He enquired about her feet and whether she applies nail polish to her toenails.

He subsequently requested her phone number, and feeling uneasy, the girl provided it in an effort to distance him from herself and her companions.

After preliminary investigations, which encompassed door-to-door enquiries and the examination of nearby CCTV footage from the time of the occurrence, Matthew Full was promptly identified and apprehended at his residence shortly thereafter on suspicion of child sexual assault.

The Protecting Vulnerable People Unit initiated an inquiry and confiscated Matthew Full’s phone. Our Digital Forensics Unit’s examination revealed numerous texts exchanged between him and the girl, along with a significant collection of foot photographs.

Upon interrogation by officers, Matthew Full denied any awareness of the occurrence. When asked about whether he had touched the teenager’s thigh, he asserted that he was unfamiliar with the term “thigh.”
