Mark Watson, the Blackpool Rapist, from Lancashire has been sentenced to 10 years in prison after confessing to rape, following an investigation by detectives in Bolton. Mark Watson (born 22/03/1979), residing at Lowrey Terrace, Blackpool, acknowledged raping a lady in Bolton in April 2024.
He was apprehended by Lancashire Police in Blackpool in April of the previous year and acknowledged the charge before Manchester Crown Court on 17 February of this year.
Mark Watson was sentenced to eight years of imprisonment for rape at Bolton Crown Court today.
Mark Watson received an additional two-year prison sentence for a distinct drug conspiracy case subsequent to an investigation conducted by Lancashire Police.
The cumulative penalty results in Mark Watson receiving a total term of 10 years.
