A Stockton Paedophile repeat offender, Mark Martin, has been incarcerated again for producing ‘repugnant’ obscene photos of minors.

Mark Martin, 37, was sentenced at Teesside Crown Court for possessing abhorrent photos of minors on his phone.

The court was informed that Mark Martin possesses at least four prior convictions for a total of 36 crimes, all pertaining to sexual concerns.

In March of the previous year, the former TK Maxx employee was sentenced to ONLY 17 months in prison for possessing abhorrent footage of children on his phone, including infants as young as three months old.

Victoria Ball, prosecuting the latest case, stated that in December of the previous year, police visited Mark Martin’s residence unexpectedly and examined his phone, where they discovered he had accessed several websites. Upon inquiry over his response, she stated: “I have been examining images of children.”

She stated that the phone was confiscated for examination and revealed 25 category A photographs, 61 category B images, and 124 category C images, in addition to three illicit images of minors.

The youngsters depicted in the pictures were as young as seven years old.

He stated that he examines the photographs two or three times weekly ‘when he experiences impulses’.

In June of this year, it was discovered that he had placed anti-forensic software on his phone, constituting a violation of his sexual harm prevention order. Ms. Ball stated, “He made complete admissions.”

Mark Martin, residing on Varo Terrace in Stockton, had earlier entered a guilty plea to all charges and appeared in court for punishment.
