A Felixstowe Paedophile, Mark French, has been incarcerated for rape and indecent assaults on minors that occurred over 30 years ago in the Felixstowe region.
Mark French, 61, formerly of Newbourne Gardens in Felixstowe, was sentenced to 19 years in jail and two years on extended licence at Ipswich Crown Court on Thursday, 14 August.
In May 2025, a jury convicted him on two counts of child rape and ten counts of indecent abuse against children after a 13-day trial.
The assaults occurred over a decade and involved two females.
Mark French was indicted for the charges in May 2023, following the emergence of the allegations in December 2020.
Mark French was issued a restraining order concerning both victims and subjected to an indefinite Sexual Harm Prevention Order.
