Mark Finney, the Friskney Paedophile and Sex Offender, has been incarcerated for almost eight years for sexually assaulting a girl under the age of 13.
Mark Finney’s transgression, occurring in April 2025, was revealed when his victim disclosed the incident to her mother.
Nottinghamshire Police was notified, and an investigation commenced.
Mark Finney first entered a plea of not guilty to the case. Still, with the acquisition of critical DNA evidence by law enforcement, he altered his plea to guilty for one count of assaulting a minor under the age of 13 through inappropriate touching.
The defendant, formerly residing on Bowman Avenue, Friskney, appeared at Nottingham Crown Court on 4 November and received an extended sentence of eight years and nine months, comprising a jail term of four years and nine months, with an additional four-year extension.
The 42-year-old, Mark Finney, was additionally registered as a sex offender and subjected to a sexual harm prevention order that will severely limit his actions upon release from prison.
