In 2018, the Offender Database reported that Mark Cowan, the Laurieston Paedophile Child Molester, from Falkirk, sexually assaulted two girls, aged 12 and 15, in Mary Street.
He proclaimed himself “a cowboy” before removing his shirt and embracing one of the minors.
In Falkirk Sheriff Court, he confessed to soliciting juveniles and engaging in sexual activity with one, thereby violating a sexual offences prevention order imposed on him.
Procurator fiscal depute Samantha Brown stated: “The accused asserted that they were attractive females and conversed for an extended period, during which he removed his shirt, encircled the witness with his arms, and commenced touching her neck and rubbing her back.”
Convicted Sex Offender, Mark Cowan, residing at 2 Munro Gardens, Laurieston, was sentenced to eight months in prison and subjected to three years of supervision, during which he must participate in drug and alcohol rehabilitation programs.
