A Hilperton Rapist from Trowbridge, Marcin Janikowski, has received a sentence of 16 and a half years in prison for the rape of two women, occurring a decade apart.
Marcin Janikowski, 39, of Cusance Way, Hilperton, received his sentence at Portsmouth Crown Court on September 19.
He entered a guilty plea for the rape of a woman last year, but subsequently attempted to alter his plea in court. He entered a plea of not guilty to the charge of raping another lady a decade prior; however, he was convicted by trial in July.
Marcin Janikowski was informed that he will spend a sentence of 13 years and six months in jail, followed by three years on licence.
Marcin Janikowski was additionally issued a Restraining Order.
