In 2018, the Offender Database reported that Louis Beagen, the Newport Paedophile Child Molester, a child rapist apprehended by two paedophile hunter organisations for attempting to groom minor females for sexual purposes on Facebook, was incarcerated once more.

Convicted sex offender Louis Beagen was apprehended by two organisations, Guardians of the North and Dark Justice, as presented in Newport Crown Court.

Prosecutor Gareth James stated that the then 24-year-old defendant was incarcerated for over five years in 2014 for offences including rape, sexual activity with a minor, and inducing a minor to participate in sexual activity.

His three victims in the cases were females under the age of 16.

Mr James recounted how Louis Beagen, previously residing at Ennerdale Court, Newport, Wales, had caused the wrongful arrest of his innocent father by hacking into his Facebook account.

Louis Beagen admitted guilt to three charges of attempting to engage in sexual communication with a minor.

In sentencing Louis Beagen, Judge Williams indicated that a lengthier prison term could have been imposed had he been charged with the more severe offence of attempting to induce a child to engage in sexual behaviour, which the judge believed was warranted.

The defendant received an 18-month incarceration and was placed under a sexual harm prevention order for a duration of 10 years.
