Gloucestershire police have disseminated a photograph of Lewis Davey, 51, who was incarcerated for sexual assault and voyeurism on Friday, October 25.

Lewis Davey, residing on Bowly Crescent in Siddington, was convicted of the sexual abuse of a girl under the age of 13 in May of the previous year.

He was additionally jailed for voyeurism for witnessing an individual participating in a private act on the same day.

At Gloucester Crown Court, he received an eight-year prison sentence, accompanied by an extended licence period of one year.

Court documents indicate that a special jail sentence was issued on Lewis Davey, who was classified as a ‘offender of exceptional concern’.

A Sexual Harm Prevention Order was imposed for a duration of 15 years from the date of conviction.

This prohibits Lewis Davey from having unsupervised contact with any youngster under the age of 16, except for his own offspring.

Exceptions encompass unintentional touch and situations where contact is not reasonably avoided during daily activities.

The other exception occurs if Lewis Davey obtains agreement from a child’s parent or guardian, who is aware of his crimes and has received formal approval from social services.

He was subsequently included in the sex offenders registry.

Lewis Davey was charged with two offences: sexually assaulting a girl under the age of 13 and voyeurism.

Lewis Davey entered a plea of not guilty to both offences but was convicted of both charges following a four-day trial at Gloucester Crown Court on Thursday, September 19.
