A London Paedophile, Lester Sharpe, apprehended by Metropolitan Police officers while attempting to access disturbing and obscene material involving minors, has been sentenced to 12 years in prison, accompanied by a lifetime sexual harm prevention order.

Lester Sharpe, 46 (born 25 November 1977), with no known address, received his sentence at Southwark Crown Court on Thursday, 7 August. In June, he admitted guilt to the charge of orchestrating child sex offences and was subsequently placed in custody.

During April and May 2025, Sharpe was under the impression that he was communicating with an individual who would enable a live web stream of the sexual abuse of an eight-year-old girl. The perilous predator was, in reality, conversing with an officer from the North East Regional Organised Crime Unit.

On the morning of Wednesday, 7 May, Lester Sharpe requested that the offence occur at a specific time that evening and made a precise request regarding the child’s attire during the abuse.

This proactive measure to examine the footage facilitated the officers’ advancement towards an arrest. That evening, cops visited his workplace in Kensington when he was on his break in the basement. They forcibly entered the room via a secured door and discovered Lester Sharpe as he was poised to view the live stream on his phone.

Lester Sharpe was promptly apprehended and then indicted.
