A perverted dad, Leigh Bell Plymouth Paedophile, masturbated over horrible pictures of youngsters being raped and tortured, including those the same age as his daughter, a court heard.
Thirty-five-year-old Twisted deviant Leigh Bell downloaded more than one hundred pictures of children, including more than forty of them being tortured and raped by adults.
Though he suggested it might have been someone pretending as a teenager, he asked a 13-year-old girl for an explicit video via the Kik messaging service.
Plymouth Crown Court heard Bell reveal his secret to his mother and stepfather during the execution of a warrant at his house.
Leigh Bell also possessed an extreme pornographic picture featuring an adult and a puppy.
Handing him a community order, the judge said that the best approach to address his issue and save future generations of children was proper therapy.
Leigh Bell had already chatted with counsellors on the phone, the court noted.
Judge William Mousley remarked, “Some of the children in the pictures are just five years old. During your police interview, you acknowledged viewing more than 1,000 pictures—some of which included even younger children.
” You admitted sending images, and you admitted receiving them.”
But the judge said Leigh Bell had shown regret and revealed more than the police had discovered on any of his 27 devices.
Under sentencing policies, Judge Mousley concluded the offender was a “realistic prospect of rehabilitation” and so might be granted a community order instead of a prison term.
He also mentioned that should Bell be incarcerated, his stepmother would suffer from a lack of attention.
Leigh Bell, of Citadel Road in the city centre, admitted guilt to attempted sexual communication with a minor under sixteen between January and November 2019.
He also admitted three counts in all three categories within the exact dates of possession of indecent photos of youngsters. He had 109 images, of which 43 fell in the most severe category, depicting the rape and torture of children.
Leigh Bell, at last, admitted guilt of owning an extreme pornographic picture.
For the Crown Prosecution Service, Sam Castlehouse said police had intelligence indicating an improper view of a child had been viewed from an IP address connected to Leigh Bell’s house.
Police carried out a warrant and took 27 distinct gadgets, including hard drives, phones, and tablets.
Mr Castlehouse said Leigh Bell’s mother had been at the property, and he told her he had been staring at pictures of kids.
Though he told police he doubted she was an actual adolescent, the barrister said he had also asked a 13-year-old girl to forward him an explicit video of herself.
For Leigh Bell, paedophile defence lawyer Chris Cuddihee claimed his client had a daughter the same age as some of the children he had been seeing.
He said: “One of the first things he told me was that these could have been his daughter. He said he never paused to consider it.
The court heard he was not permitted to see the teenage daughter and was no longer with the child’s mother.
Leigh Bell had relocated to Plymouth at sixteen, the barrister continued, and he had battled to create new acquaintances or ties.
Mr Cuddihee added that the defendant had not worked for two years.
In the two years following his imprisonment, he also mentioned calling a charity six to eight times on behalf of sex offenders.
Mr Cuddihee claimed Leigh Bell had been attracted to pornography but had begun using Kik for banter on sports, music, and women.
According to the paedophile lawyer, the defendant — who was never convicted — was sent the dog’s picture during a bulk download.
Leigh Bell received a three-year community order from a friend of the paedophile’s, Judge Mousley, together with a sex offender treatment program and probation’s Rehabilitation Activity Requirement monitoring course.
Leigh Bell was subject to a Sexual Harm Prevention Order for ten years and has five years on the Sex Offender Register.
That will let the cops track his internet usage.
