A Sex Offender cleaner from Tonbridge, Lee Drury, has been imprisoned for using his phone to observe a woman bathing at a gym.

The victim observed the device concealed by Lee Drury after noticing a displaced ceiling tile.

Lee Drury had been employed at the gym for only a few months when, on 19 June 2023, he concealed his iPhone in a customer area. Upon noticing it, the victim captured photographs and notified a manager.

Lee Drury faced scrutiny, and although his phone corresponded with the provided description, no photographs were discovered during inspection.

The police arrived and apprehended him. A comprehensive forensic analysis of the phone revealed that he had utilised a camera application concurrently with the victim’s time in the showers.

Officers also retrieved an illicit image of a child, which had been acquired from the internet and classified in the most severe category.

The inquiry subsequently resulted in the confiscation of an additional phone belonging to Lee Drury, which held more lewd photographs.

He faced many charges but refuted any misconduct and was given bail by magistrates, awaiting subsequent legal processes.

Lee Drury subsequently perpetrated other offences and was re-arrested in August 2024 for initiating communication with an individual he believed to be a 14-year-old minor.

He issued multiple explicit demands to the child and transmitted sexual material.

Following a trial at Maidstone Crown Court, Lee Drury, 35, was found guilty of voyeurism and two charges of producing indecent pictures of a minor.

Concerning the internet offences, he earlier entered a guilty plea for attempted sexual communication with a minor, attempting to induce a minor to observe others engaged in sexual behaviour, and attempting to provoke a minor to participate in sexual activity.

On 4 September 2025, Lee Drury, residing on Borough Green Road in Wrotham, was sentenced to four years and six months of incarceration. He was also subjected to a Sexual Harm Prevention Order, effective for 15 years.
