A 46-year-old Wallsend Sex Offender, Khaled Ibrahim, has been sentenced to five years in prison for sexually assaulting an unknown individual in a park located in North Tyneside.

Khaled Ibrahim met the victim in March 2022 after she became disassociated from her companions during an evening outing.

He grasped her hand in a gesture of assistance, subsequently attempted to disrobe her, kissed her without consent, and sexually attacked her.

The woman repelled Khaled Ibrahim and sought refuge in a stranger’s residence, where she promptly reported the assault.

Khaled Ibrahim, identified through CCTV footage, was apprehended and refuted any allegations of misconduct.

Following an extensive inquiry by the Safeguarding Department of Northumbria Police, he was charged with sexual assault in April 2024.

After a trial at Newcastle Crown Court in August 2025, he was adjudicated guilty.

On September 10, 2025, Khaled Ibrahim received a sentence of five years’ imprisonment and was permanently registered as a sex offender.
