The Accrington Paedophile shown is 32-year-old Joshua Adcroft, a duplicitous and immoral child molester sex offender. He is also known as Joshua Everitt and previously served as a football stadium announcer.
His present employment prospects are now severely constrained. He was sentenced to 14 years in prison at Preston Crown Court on Friday, July 25th, as a result of our investigation into his reprehensible offences.
Our findings revealed that Joshua Adcroft had groomed an 11-year-old child prior to sexually assaulting her. He issued threats against her should she disclose his actions to anyone.
At the time of his most recent offence, Joshua Adcroft was a registered sex offender who concealed his interactions with the youngster from the authorities.
The misconduct was revealed in April 2024, leading to Joshua Adcroft’s arrest by our British Transport Police counterparts upon his return from a business trip.
Following Joshua Adcroft’s arrest, his residence in Accrington was searched, revealing two laptops and an iPad concealed under an upstairs closet. These gadgets had not been registered with the authorities, as mandated by a court order.
Upon searching the electronic devices, our police discovered obscene photos of an eight-year-old girl from Essex on two of them. A chat log was discovered in which Joshua Adcroft promoted engagement and directed the girl’s mother regarding the specific photographs he desired. The offences occurred on April 8 and April 9, 2024. A criminal inquiry has been initiated over the behaviour of the victim’s mother.
An further 53 inappropriate photographs of youngsters were discovered on Joshua Adcroft’s concealed devices.
Joshua Adcroft, previously residing on Lower Antley Street, Accrington, but currently without a fixed home, was charged with three charges of sexual assault against a child under 13, soliciting indecent photos of minors, and 11 violations of his Sexual Harm Prevention Order.
He admitted culpability for all the charges. In addition to the jail term, Joshua Adcroft received an indefinite Sexual Harm Prevention Order and was mandated to register on the Sex Offenders Register for life.
