John Lee maintained a disturbing collection of child sexual abuse photographs for three years.

The tax officer, convicted of paedophilia, possessed 4,781 obscene photographs of minors, including 134 movies depicting the rape of children as young as two.

The 43-year-old, John Lee, dismissed after 20 years of employment with HMRC, also disseminated 14 child sexual assault photographs via WhatsApp and Kik Messenger to an accomplice.

He expressed his desire to engage in sexual activity with an 11-year-old girl he was acquainted with and subsequently transmitted a photograph of her.

The paedophile father of two, John Lee, residing on Dalemeadow Road, Knotty Ash, confessed to three charges of downloading, one charge of possessing, and one charge of disseminating indecent photographs of minors, occurring between July 25, 2017, and May 21, 2020.

John Lee was incarcerated for a duration of two years and eight months.
